Ava got to do joy school with some kids from our neighborhood this year. It was so fun letting her get to know everyone before we even moved in, and then hanging out with them every few weeks once we were here. I was going to do a graduation party for the kids but it ended up not working out with several of the parents, so we just did a little party at the house with the kids. We had Rig Koford, Ava, Zed Anderson, Violet Payne, and Tate Shepard. "Their future is so BRIGHT!"

Hunstville
Tim works with a woman that owns a farm in Hunstville and she invited several people and their families up for a BBQ. She had everything set up in her backyard to eat, and then the kids got to ride her horses and carriage. They were all in heaven. No one could take enough rides. They can't wait to go back. It was so beautiful there. I think in another life I was meant to be a cowgirl.

Tea Party Time
I've been wanting to spend more time with my mom lately. I haven't been able to do as much for her as I would have liked since she got her cancer diagnosis. I wish I had been there for her better. Served her and showed her I love her more. And now that she is doing so well, I really just want to be able to spend time with her. It's hard because she is busy with work during the weekdays when I would be free, and she's free on the weekends when I am so busy with kids. But we found the time this weekend and went to a fun big tea party in Brigham. They had a little fashion show and the local ballet troupe performed. And I got to chat with my mom and Emily, Betsey, and Lexi.

Spring Break in St. George
The kids had a couple of days off of school for spring break, and I decided to take them down to St. George for a couple of days. Tim couldn't really take work off because of all the time he took last year - working on the house. So I got brave and took them myself.
It turned out to be so fun! We tried a lot of stuff we've never done on our other visits. We met up with my friend Heather and her kids and they showed us the sights. First we played in their sandbox while we waited for Gia to get home from school. She had a sandbox, trampoline and slide, so all the bases were covered. And I got to chat with my friend that lives too far away. Then the kids had a blast at the children't museum. We also rode the Merry-Go-Round and played on the grass. Then visited this old-tyme candy shop for treats and ice cream.
We were staying with Sue so the kids had a great time just playing with cousings. We also went with Sue, Keslie and Kylie to see the movie Boss Baby. It was seriously hilarious. Even Bus was laughing. Then we went to the new inclusive park. It has things for kids, adults, special needs people and everything in between. That was a little stressful for me because the place was packed, and my older kids kept running around where I couldn't see them. After it got too hot and crowded we headed out, but not until we made a pit stop at the dinosaur museum to see the real dino tracks. That was fun for a little bit, and Tim was getting nervous that we hadn't started the drive home, so we didn't stay long.
All in all, successful trip.
