Crystal goes to Cali

My friends and I took a trip to California at the end of our senior year. We rigged up a TV and a mattress in my parents' mini van and drove down to Las Vegas, where we stayed a night and picked up Kate, and then on to Huntington Beach, where all five girls crammed into one hotel room and spent our days hanging out at the beach.

This year, Erin's husband Jesse text me and said that he wanted to plan a trip for Erin because he had been doing a lot of fun things and she needed a break. He really meant he wanted to me to plan a trip for her, so I did! I got everyone to agree on a place and a date and we bought our plane tickets. It was a senior trip reunion trip. I am so glad that everyone could go. It was awesome just hanging out with my friends and seeing the ocean.

Waterfall Hike

My kids have gotten really close to my brother, Ryan, since he moved back to Brigham from Texas. Mason especially has found a good friend in his uncle. Yesterday Ryan asked if he could take Mason and Brielle for a hike to the waterfall, and then today I got these adorable pictures from him. He was trying to scare their mom with pictures that looked a lot more precarious than they were. I've been up there though, so can't fool me.

Mason's first tooth

Mason lost his first tooth! Actually it was his fourth tooth, but it was his first loose tooth. It has been wiggling for a while and when I asked if I could pull it out, just said OK. It took one tug and it came right out!

Mason's Zoo Trip

I volunteered to go with Mason's kindergarten class on their zoo field trip this year. I had the best time spending the day with him! He was a little excited and a little embarrassed to have his mom around. We had a really good time together and with his school/neighborhood friend Cort Whitney. He rode the bus there without be, and then we caught a ride home together with some friends. I am so glad I got to join him.
