My sweet Mason turned three years old while we were on vacation last week. In fact, we were on our way to Oregon the day he bumped up a year and we've been hyping it up for a while now. "Guess who gets to go on a plane for his birthday!"

We've been butting heads a little more often lately as he decides he wouldn't mind a little independence. But he is still just the most unbelievably sweet kid you'll ever meet. Just now, I told him it was time for a nap. He responded that he DOES NOT WANT A NAP. I said too bad. So he started singing me a song about how much he does love his mommy. And now he's asleep. Can't imagine a better three year old.

We got married seven years ago

Anniversary time! I did not take a single picture of Tim and I having dinner at my favorite little place in town, or grocery shopping after. We are serious about our celebrations! Really though, it was nice to get out just the two of us, just for a little bit. Kinda reminds me what a cool guy I married.

Here's the real good part though... we make seriously cute kids together. Like I hit the jackpot in finding a guy to make cute kids with. Check it.

Birthday Girl

If you'd have asked me ten years ago where I saw myself in a decade, I'd have said, "dead."

I was weird.

As a seventeen-year-old with no real responsibility aside from earning enough money to eat out and go to the pool with my friends, the future looked bleak. I figured that 27 seemed a pretty reasonable age to kick the bucket. By then I thought I would have traveled, gotten married, had a baby and then....what? What else is there, right?

I'm glad I didn't die when I turned 27 last week.

I had over a week of celebrating thanks to my family and friend. It was a good week!

In other news, we are basically working on the house every spare minute to try and get it ready to list this month. I'm so done with projects that I would rather do just about anything than finish the bottom deck or paint one more thing. I AM excited to post the "after" pictures soon. Even though I forgot to take any "before" pictures.

Mr. Arbon, M.A.

Tim graduated from his masters program last month. He now has an undergrad in Business Administration and a graduate degree in Procurement and Acquisition. Hallelujah, school is done! (maybe)

It is so sexy when a guy is willing to do whatever it takes to make a good life for his family. I'm sure there are a lot of things that would be way more fun than how he spends the majority of his waking hours. Like what I do. Like what I can do because of what he does.

Congrats on the graduation, Tim. I love you!

Another fabulous weekend in St. George!
